Privacy Policy

Volia Ventures Inc. (“Volia,” “we,” “us”) operates the Volia creator platform (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

1. Information we collect

You give us: email address, account handle, profile photo and bio, content you upload (videos, images, text, voice notes), and direct messages you send through the Service.

Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive payment metadata (amount, status, last 4 digits, country) but never your full card number or bank credentials.

Automatic: IP address, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, pages viewed, content played, and timestamps. We use this for security, fraud prevention, and product analytics.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly-necessary cookies for authentication and session integrity, and a small number of analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time; doing so will sign you out.

3. How we use information

To operate the Service, authenticate you, deliver content you upload or unlock, process payments and payouts, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law, and communicate with you about your account. We do not use your personal information to train third-party advertising profiles.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only with vendors who help us run the Service, under written agreements that limit their use of it:

• Stripe — payment processing and creator payouts.
• Mux — video transcoding and delivery.
• Supabase — database, authentication, and object storage.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the safety of users or the Service.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email privacy@voliaventures.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

6. Data retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations. Deleted content is removed from the live Service promptly and from backups within 90 days.

7. Children

The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has used the Service, contact us and we will delete the associated data.

8. International transfers

Volia is based in the United States and processes data there. If you use the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US under appropriate safeguards.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated date and, for material changes, notify you in-product or by email.
